Simon Clear & Associates were part of a multi-disciplinary team working on this Major Town Centre project.  The Masterplan and Environmental Report were completed in 2006 to inform preparation of the Local Area Plan.  The LIffey Valley Town Centre Local Area Plan and Strategic Environment Assessment were completed in 2008.  The EIS and 2 simultaneous planning applications were submitted early in 2009 for a new Civic and Retail Core (c.68,000m2), Plaza and Basement Car Park (11,300m2), Multi-Storey Car Park (46,000m2) and Hypermarket (c.12,000m2).  South Dublin County Council made a decision to grant permission for the developments.
